So I know I haven't posted in an awfully long time. I seem to limit my photography more to 'events' nowadays such as traveling, camping, hiking, and such. (Facebook is probably partly to blame too, as I joined a few months ago and started posting galleries over there). Anyway, I was just looking through some of the photos I've taken in the last couple months and realized I really have no excuse for not posting some of them. I absolutely love this particular image. I took it during a game of disc golf at Diamond X here in Billings. This is my friend tossing off of "Black 18". The basket is nearly 1,000 feet away if I remember correctly, and it is a very steep downhill throw that requires a great deal of accuracy to come anywhere close to landing by the basket. The sun was setting quickly and the light was just perfect. I was happy to be there with my camera - right place, right time. |
