I took a hike today in the Absaroka-Beartooth Mtns. The trailhead for Slough Lake is right near the base of East Rosebud Lake. Today I hiked in about 2.5 miles. The trail is often used to access Granite Peak, the highest point in Montana, and you can follow the trail itself all the way to Mystic lake on the other side of the mountain. |
